150 jobs have been promised for Cork by a commercial property company, should planning permission be granted in the coming weeks.
JCD Group has announced a new €200m investment into the development of a number of data centres on the outskirts of Cork city.
Planning permission is due to be finalised in a matter of weeks to transform the 32-acre site into a technology campus with over 275,000 sq ft of state-of-the-art data centre accommodation.
The development will also lead to hundreds of additional construction jobs during the build phase.
