CRH Disposes of Benelux DIY Business For €510 Million

CRH plc, the global building materials group, has completed the divestment of its DIY business in the Netherlands and Belgium, together with certain related property assets, to Intergamma, the Dutch DIY franchise organisation, and a US real estate investor for a total consideration of €510 million.
The disposal follows a strategic review of CRH’s Europe Distribution activities, focused on improving the margins and returns of the business, as well as exploring other strategic options.
