Minister of State with responsibility for the Office of Public Works (OPW), Mr. Patrick O’Donovan T.D., delivered an opening statement at the Joint Committee on Environment and Climate Action. Accompanied by officials from the Climate Division in the Department of Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform, Minister Donohoe discussed the pivotal role of his department in achieving Ireland’s national climate objectives.

In his address, Minister Donohoe emphasized the urgent need to address climate change, describing it as one of the most pressing threats to future prosperity.
