ATC Industrial Group develops and commercializes new technologies within the energy efficiency area. We work with a blend of advanced technologies, such as neural NETWORK TECHNOLOGY, embedded systems and IT, in order to find new solutions to traditional challenges.

Among our in-house innovations is Scypho, a groundbreaking control system based on self-learning intelligence. The system saves energy through smart control of HEATING AND COOLING in all types of buildings. At the same time utilites can use the technology for Intelligent Demand Response.

Cyber Physical System

A cyber-physical system is a system where the computer based control system is closely adapted to and coordinated with the physical world. By improving the control of the building’s heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) and lighting, the energy consumption can be significantly reduced at a relatively low investment cost.

ATC develops self-learning technologies and systems that enable intelligent control of HVAC SYSTEMS and that includes functions for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and smart grid. The patented retrofit technology enables easy installation and the system can integrates towards most types of existing HVAC system. The self-learning system automatically adjusts to maximize both energy savings and indoor climate comfort

Intelligent Demand Response

Instead of just turning the electricity off during high peak demands as in traditional Demand Response, the ATC technology is able to plan the energy consumption in an intelligent way.

Thereby, our intelligent self-learning system reduces the peak loads and provides a more stable grid, at the same time as it makes the building more energy efficient and improves the indoor climate. The ATC Scypho system also enables metering via standard metering interfaces. The information can automatically be used to both optimize and verify the energy savings achieved by the heating/cooling control. It can also be used to log and display the COP of a heat pump, or used by utility companies for Automated Meter Reading (AMR).

Home Energy Management 

With an intelligent control system a new IT infrastructure is introduced in the building, which opens up for more applications and services than just heating/cooling control. If a system is installed with energy-saving features the investment can be repaid quickly, which means that much of what is needed to be able to add additional services, such as alarms, automated functions, energy consulting, lighting, and even remote health services are already in place.
