Budget Energy is a Northern Ireland registered company. All revenue generated will be retained in the province. Our Call Centre is manned by Northern Ireland employees.

What?

An electricity company with substantial savings on PowerNI and Airtricity Standard Rate.

Where?

Throughout Northern Ireland.

Why?

We listened to what you want and we are now providing it for you and our community.

Budget Energy is the low cost energy provider. Established in 2011 and a Northern Ireland registered company, our goal is to be cost effective, competitive and operational in real time bringing much needed consumer choice to the marketplace. All revenues generated by Budget Energy will remain in the province. We are the only electricity provider to retain profits in the province for the benefit of our customers and suppliers.

Value for Money

Budget Energy provides “value for money” electricity to consumers through a combination of competitive pricing and reduced overheads. Below is a break down of our tariff and where your money goes.

A Fresh Approach

We had an idea for a energy company that tossed out the traditional trappings of corporate business. We believe that lavish offices in prestigious buildings doesn’t win customers. They inflate overhead and ultimately cost both us and our customers money. Prestige comes from doing excellent work and being fanatical about customer service. We inspire change.

Our Dedication to Charity

To celebrate the launch of Budget Energy, the company has collaborated with one of the Northwest’s most crucial charities, The Foyle Hospice.

The Foyle Hospice holds a special place in the heart of many families throughout Northwest Ireland. The palliative care they offer cancer patients in coping with treatments or difficult days is critical for both the patient and their families.

It costs £2.2m per annum to run the hospice with only 20% provided by local government. Without much needed funds by the public to support the hospice, they would struggle to provide such a worthy service.

Quick Check Scheme

Budget Energy are committed to ensuring that you as a customer feels safe when our door to door sales representatives visit your home. We have partnered with the Quick Check Scheme.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland, in conjunction with Virgin Media and Fold Telecare, operate a 24-hour ‘Quick Check’ phone line to tackle the issue of bogus callers by allowing householders to check the identity of callers at their door.

Simply ring 0800 013 22 90 and your call will be answered by a trained operator. They will take the details of the company, which the caller claims to be visiting on behalf of, then contact the organisation to determine if the caller is genuine.
