Calleva is a family-run business established in 1993 based in Bridgwater, Somerset, UK – close to junction 23 of the M5. This convenient location gives us rapid access to the motorway network, air and rail travel.

The business was established by Clive Griffiths, who has more than 30 years’ experience in food technology and NPD. The company is focused on quality and offers a unique philosophy on the application of “clever” ingredients such as Calleblend  and energy gels.

We have invested continuously in our purpose-built, BRC certified,ingredients production facility, R&D and pilot plant to ensure high quality development, production and administrative support.

Calleva specialise in food technology solutions – bringing together the traceability of primary producers, accessibility to a wide variety of ingredients and a depth of knowledge and experience to provide a one stop service to food manufacturers.

Calleva has developed a reputation for being “clever with ingredients”. We apply our expertise to the development of tailor-made products and a varied range of ingredients to meet the needs of food and beverage producers.

Our BRC certified production and research facility is purpose-built, with powder blending and liquid processing facilities.
