The Land Development Agency (LDA) has announced the launch of 57 newly built homes in Hollystown, Dublin 15, forming part of the Wilkinsons Brook development. These homes, delivered through the LDA’s Project Tosaigh initiative, were inaugurated by Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien.

Affordable Housing Opportunities

The A-rated, stylish, and modern houses are made available through the Local Authority Affordable Purchase Scheme. This scheme, jointly run by the LDA and Fingal County Council, allows eligible first-time buyers to bridge the gap between the house price and available funds through shared equity arrangements and the Help to Buy scheme.

Home Specifications and Pricing

Developed by Glenveagh Properties, the Wilkinsons Brook homes consist of 13 two-bed houses, 39 three-beds, and five four-bed residences. Prices start from €320,000 for two-beds, €352,000 for three-beds, and €399,500 for four-beds, aided by government supports and equity contributions.

Community-Centric Design

These homes, secured through the LDA’s Project Tosaigh initiative, embody a commitment to sustainable and inclusive community development. Designed to enhance communal living, the development boasts shared spaces, concealed parking, and landscaped gardens, fostering a vibrant and united neighborhood.

Government Support and Future Initiatives

Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien emphasized the government’s commitment to increasing social and affordable housing supply, praising Project Tosaigh for effectively delivering viable housing solutions. With a significant pipeline of homes in progress, the LDA is poised to become a leading homebuilder in the country.

Partnership and Local Impact

Collaborating with Fingal County Council, the LDA’s initiative aligns with Fingal’s commitment to providing diverse housing solutions for its residents. Mayor Adrian Henchy highlighted the development’s contribution to sustainable and inclusive housing options, reflecting the council’s dedication to fostering vibrant communities.

Building Sustainable Communities

Tony McLoughlin, Managing Director of Glenveagh, expressed pride in contributing to Fingal’s housing supply, emphasizing sustainable, energy-efficient, and affordable housing solutions. With a focus on creating thriving communities, the Wilkinsons Brook development underscores the collective effort towards building a brighter future for residents in Hollystown and beyond.
